A short honest version

I'm Abhishek. I grew up in Gorakhpur and I've been a bit of a nomad since — a few cities, a few teams, one steady habit of taking things apart to see why they're slow.

Work-wise I sit in the middle: interfaces on one side, the services behind them on the other. The parts I enjoy most are the unglamorous ones — a table that stays smooth at ten thousand rows, an endpoint whose p99 doesn't wobble when traffic triples, an empty state that tells you what to do next.

Away from a keyboard it's mostly music and movies, and a running list of both that I'm always happy to argue about.

If any of this sounds like your kind of problem — hit me up.

Where I've been

  1. Jan 2026 — now

    Module Lead · Media.net

Stepped up to lead the module I'd spent the previous three years building.

  2. Oct 2022 — Jan 2026

Senior Web Application Developer · Media.net

Three and a half years of React and Python on ad-tech web applications, at the kind of traffic volumes where latency budgets are a daily conversation.

  3. Jan 2021 — Sep 2022

    Senior Software Engineer · Radarr

The second half of three years at Radarr, by then owning features end to end rather than picking up tickets.

  4. Sep 2019 — Dec 2020

    Software Engineer · Radarr

First proper product engineering job. Small team, JavaScript front to back, and the steepest learning curve I've had.

  5. Aug 2018 — Sep 2019

    Project Engineer · Wipro

Straight out of an electrical engineering degree into enterprise IT in Hyderabad — the year I decided software was the actual plan.

  6. Jun — Jul 2017

    R&D Intern · IIT Madras

Two months at the Centre for Non-Destructive Evaluation on image dehazing and enhancement algorithms and segmentation techniques, plus a GUI for the image-processing tooling around them.

  7. 2014 — 2018

B.Tech, Electrical Engineering · JSS Academy, Noida

Studied circuits and power systems, spent the spare hours on Free Code Camp, and shipped my way into software instead.
